The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Lightkeeper, trained by Gordon Elliott, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

122B Tote Guarantee (C&G) M'dn H'dle

R.J. Condon, rider of Whatdoyoucallhim, trained by David K. Walsh, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung off the bend with a circuit to go.

At the request of the Raceday Stewards, J. Aherne, rider of Akako, trained by John Patrick Ryan, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount was always out of his comfort zone, never really travelled and he rode him out to the line.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Sarah's Express, trained by P.A.Fahy, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

122D Money Back Daily Specials Tote Hcap Hdle

Sam Ewing, rider of Penny Express, trained by Gordon Elliott, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount jumped left throughout.

122E Danny's Diary @ToteRacing (M) M'dn H'dle

D.J. O'Keeffe, rider of Nirisque (FR), trained by Henry de Bromhead, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that a horse jumped across him at the first hurdle. The Raceday Stewards reviewed the video footage and were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

The Raceday Stewards reviewed an incident at the bend past the stands on the first circuit involving Crossbar Getaway, ridden by Sam Ewing, Laura's Choice, ridden by G.B. Noonan, Mrs Mason, ridden by Josh Williamson and Wings Of Africa, ridden by R. Deegan, where it appeared Crossbar Getaway and Laura's Choice got marginally tight for room. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Nirisque (FR), trained by Henry de Bromhead, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be blowing hard post race.

122F Clonmel Racecourse Supporters Hcap H'dle

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident turning into the home straight involving Theflyingbee, ridden by Mr J.R. Martin, Sense Of Occasion, ridden by M.P. Walsh, Chanceawetmorning, ridden by Josh Williamson and Lady Doyanne, ridden by D.J. O'Keeffe where it appeared Lady Doyanne had to take a check. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Mr. J.R. Martin said his mount hung left off the bend. M.P. Walsh said he received pressure from his right. Josh Williamson said he kept his line but received some pressure from his right. D.J. O'Keeffe said he had to take a check. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards took no further action. Mr. Patrick Coveney, Raceday Steward, recused himself from this enquiry.

Michael Kenneally, rider of Expound (GB), trained by Denis Gerard Hogan, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount made a mistake at the third last, went wrong in the home straight and pulled up.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Expound (GB), trained by Denis Gerard Hogan, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

GENERAL INFORMATION

The following Raceday Stewards acted on behalf of the Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board at this race meeting: Ms. Kate Horgan (Chairman), Mr. Patrick Coveney, Mr. Michael Moloney, Mr. Michael Murphy, Mr. L. Aspell.

For this race meeting, the Raceday Stewards suspended the ‘Starting Procedures for Tape Starts’, and the IHRB suspended Rule 208 (i) and Rule 209 (i).

Following a request from broadcasters, the Raceday Stewards granted permission for a five minute delay to races three to eight inclusive.

Owing to the low lying sun, the Raceday Stewards granted permission for hurdles one and two to be omitted from races six and seven.
